Keepsakes by design

I hope you have had a lovely peaceful Christmas and everything went smoothly, unfortunately we had a few mishaps not least of all our cooker breaking down, luckily the christmas dinner was almost ready so we just had to have our vegetables just a little "al-dente".. So at the moment if we can't cook it in the oven or microwave the we have to do without.. Over the festive period whilst OH was snoozing I have been playing with some templates for decorating glass blocks, which then lead me to trying to decorate some plain glass vases you know the ones you get free with your bouquets and floral displays. This is one that I finished yesterday, I used a 5" square glass vase, these are realatively inexpensive to buy but when you have finished they look really stunning, but beware it is addictived. Every year my friend and I have a long standing tradition of buying our christmas present for each other from the charity shop this year I bought some glass stoarge jars and to jazz them up a bit I thought I would use my cutter here are the results. Well I have had my last battle with my fellow shoppers I am safely ensconced at home and all the shopping is finished PHEW!!! Presants are wrapped with one day to spare - so tomorrow I am going to have a "me day" and do some crafting maybe I will be able to finsh all those half done designs. Well being one of those people who are organised, getting everything done in ample time (NOT). Yesterday I had to finally get round doing some christmas shopping - if truth be known I hate crowds so have been putting it off for as long as possible, however tomorrow is my last day at work until the 4th Jan I couldn't put it off any longer as needed to get get some pressie for work colleagues and so with a bottle of traquilisers in hand off I went.. It was a stampede and no-one seemed to want to be in the shopping centre, least of all me but I struggled through the crowds smiling through gritted teeth as I was shoved, jostled and queue jumped. The good news was I got 90% of it done although the last couple of pressies were well lets say desperate choices as I couldn't bear to be with all of these GRUMPY people any longer and was in danger of giving a few people a piece of my mind. Not done a freebie for a while mainly because of having very little time - but here is a wee versitile little template, it has dasiy cutout design on each of the sides.
