Laptop Back In Action

Well after numerous dreaded blue screen of deaths I decided that I would rebuild my laptop instead of my original impulse to rsuh out and by a new one. So I gathered all my disks together read the instructions then crossed my fingers and went for it. I thought easy I have done this before so will be simple, well let me tell you it was anything but and had to eventually admit defeat and ring the nice men at DELL to get there help - but my bad luck was to last a little longer my extended warrenty had run out 2 months ago so with fingers crossed I enquired how much to get it going and they said a max of £60.00 as this was cheaper than a new machine i said OK So after they talked me through some of the reinstall they took over my laptop remotely for 2 hours and hey presto a new fast and improved machine for the bargain price of 60.00. I have now finished installing my software and was quite selective on what I put back on to try and keep it working faster. ------------------------

Picnic Basket - Treat/Gift Box

Made this to put in some homemade cookies for a friend who was a little bit poorly and needed cheering up... I used plain white cardstock and found some free printables and printed different pattern on each side then cut on my pazzles and just decorated with a chrysanthemum that I made (template coming soon) and ribbon. I am sure this has lots of uses and would be great for easter just filled with sweets or chocolate egg(s) and deocrate with chicks or rabbits for childeren or for the adults I think you could squeeze in 2 cupcakes. Why not put in some toiletries --- well the possibilities are endless. approx size 6.5" x 3.5" x 4.75" (lowest height) Available in GSD, KNK, AI, WPC, SVG Available HERE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My cutter files work on many machines. New Project Decorative Crown Plaque

This one has sat in my "to do" folder for ages so thought it was about time to cut it and oh how much did I enjoy decorating it it was a departure from my usual, had to dig way down deep in my stash and pulled out stuff that had been left  unopened like paints and some stamps so it morphed from there, However don't think it turned out too bad. I have made 2 examples to give you a feel for what can be done with it . For myself I have made it a more "grown up" piece it to put on a small easel as a decoration. The second is a great little childs name plaque to hang on the bedroom door Includes - welded "princess" to start you off. It just occured that it could also be used to hang jewelery from it with the addtion of some small hooks. What about using it as part of your scapbook layout... Formats - GSD, WPC, AI, KNK & SVG Available from my website and will be added to Paperthreads soon.. ------------------------------------------------
